The purpose of the Women's Resource Center (WRC) is to promote educational access and equity for all women, to provide an alternative and complement to existing services and facilities, and to further the collective and individual goals of women regardless of race, national origin, ethnicity, color, age, physical ability, sexual orientation, religious or political beliefs, social or economic status, or occupation.

FOMB works to preserve, protect, and improve the unique ecosystems of Merrymeeting Bay through research, advocacy, education, and land conservation. We reach over 1,000 students/year, have conducted several innovative research projects, protected over 1,200 acres of land, and worked regionally and statewide on issues such as migratory fish passage and toxics.
